Dr. Donna Ferguson, C.Psych, ABPP

Dr. Ferguson is a clinical psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She provides psychological assessments and treatments, specifically Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy focused, in the area of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and other Anxiety Disorders. Dr. Ferguson also works at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health at the Psychological Trauma Program, Work Stress and Health Program. She holds a cross appointment with the University of Toronto’s Department of Psychiatry and its Scarborough Campus. Her clinical research interests and areas of specialty include concurrent disorders in anxiety disorders and/or co-morbid depressive disorders with gambling pathology (in areas of assessment and intervention). Dr. Ferguson has published research in problem gambling and has worked with clients in the area of gambling addiction. She has also published articles in the area of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Ferguson is a graduate of the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. She is a member of the Ontario Psychology Association and the Canadian Psychology Association. Dr. Ferguson is also listed with the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. She is also Board Certified with the American Board of Professional Psychologists (ABPP) and volunteers her time as an examiner with the Ontario College of Psychologist and as chair of the Quality Assurance Committee.

Dr. Liz Holmes-Bose, Psychologist

Dr. Holmes-Bose holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University at Buffalo. Her primary approach to treatment is cognitive behavioural, although she also uses client-centred techniques. She values diversity and social justice and has completed training and dissertation research in the area of multicultural counselling. Her areas of expertise include providing psychodiagnostic assessments and counselling to adults. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, especially adult survivors of childhood abuse. Dr. Holmes-Bose also works with individuals who have depression, panic disorder, generalized anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and stress. Dr. Holmes-Bose has a particular interest in working with post-secondary students and has held previous positions at the Michigan State University Counselling Centre and the University at Buffalo Counselling Centre. She is supervised by Dr. Donna Ferguson.

Donalea McIntyre holds her Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from Andrews University and is certified by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as a Certified Canadian Counsellor. She is currently pursuing her certification and registration as a psychologist and is working under the supervision of Dr. Donna Ferguson and is currently a psychologist in supervised practice in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Dr. Angela St. Hillaire holds her Ph.D. in Psychology from Andrews University and is a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and is pursuing her registration as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed training at the Centerstone Behavioral Hospital and Addiction Center in Bradenton, Florida, and is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Donna Ferguson.  

Frances Gesquiere

Frances Gesquiere is a Registered Psychological Associate (Supervised Practice). She obtained her Masters in Psychology in 2006 at the University of Ghent, Belgium. In Belgium, she worked for 13 years as a Clinical Psychologist in a broad range of settings (Private Practice, Psychiatry, Forensics) where she provided assessment, counselling and therapy to clients struggling with mental health issues such as eating disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, burn out, stress, low self-esteem,
relational problems, communication issues, autism spectrum disorder, and Covid 19 related issues such as loneliness.   During her career, Frances continued to train and followed various additional training courses, such
as Motivational Interviewing and Schema Therapy.  She works in keeping with the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.  In an atmosphere of security and trust, Frances collaborates with the client to achieve their
individual goals based on their specific needs and wishes. 
Frances provides counselling in English and Dutch.
